If you are unemployed and your employment situation could be improved by using labour, social, health and rehabilitation services, the employment authority, wellbeing services county or the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela) can direct you to a multisectoral assessment of service needs.
You can use the joint service for multisectoral support promoting the employment of young people if you are under the age of 30. You can also use the low-threshold service anonymously.

Job Market Finland's “E-services” section for personal customers
The online service is available in Finnish and Swedish.
The 'E-services' section is the electronic transaction channel of employment services at Job Market Finland. Using the E-services, you can register as a job seeker, which is a prerequisite for applying for an unemployment benefit. In addition, you can report the progress of your employment plan and changes in your job search. Through the 'E-services' section, you can also apply for labour market training and apply for a start-up grand to start a business.
By using the E-services at Job Market Finland you can
- register as a job seeker and apply for an unemployment benefit,
- monitor the status of your job search,
- agree upon an employment plan and notify officials of its implementation,
- notify officials of changes in your job search,
- submit a contact request to the service location responsible for your customer relationship,
- apply for labour market training, and
- apply for a start-up grant.
